Favorite Summer Purchases
At the beginning of the summer I told my husband I wanted to turn our backyard into a giant playground for our son. With only one vehicle, a tight budget, and very few places to take a toddler in our town, I wanted to enjoy this summer without feeling stuck at home.

This dinosaur inflatable pool has been perfect for him! Safe but also large enough for us to sit and splash with him.

A few of our backyard items we got for our toddler to grow into. The swing set was a gift from his great grandparents but he already loves climbing it. The swings were a little too big for him so he got the Little Tikes toddler swing pictured at the top of this page and attached it in place of one of the big swings and it is a hit!
The Little Tikes slide and water table are probably my top 2 of all the toys we have bought for the backyard. By far the most played with!
All of these toys will still be played with once it cools down. The pool will be the only thing getting put up for the season. We are thinking of turning his water table into a sand table for the cooler months since he loves it so much.
We made the heat bearable for mom and dad too!
These chairs have held up so good! We ended up buying more because of the comfort and quality!
I am not someone who loves the outdoors, but I knew I would need to adapt since I have a boy that LOVES to be outside. As a momma, I am thankful for the core memories that have been made with my little family in this yard and I am looking forward to many more! Summer may be ending, but that doesn’t mean the yard won’t be used!
