Favorite Casseroles
We all love a great casserole! A hot casserole on a cold day is one of our favorite things. They are a great dish if you are delivering a meal or if you want to have family and friends over for dinner!
This recipe is one of my family favorites! My momma made it when I lived at home. I brought the recipe with me when I got married and now it’s my husband’s favorite meal!
I made it with canned cream of chicken for a while but each time I have made it in the last year, I used homemade cream of chicken! I’ll link it for you!
The recipe calls for 1.5 tablespoons of taco seasoning because we make our own taco seasoning. However, if you want to use a packet, just dump half of it into the mixture.
This one is a newer one we found and perfected how we like it. It seemed daunting at first but aside from cooking the chicken and rice separately, it’s fairly simple because you combine it all to bake. So yummy and so filling!
We don’t eat a lot of pasta in our house. However, since we have a toddler that loves spaghetti but can’t have it in most restaurants due to allergies, we try to have it at home on occasion. Plain spaghetti is easy but if you want to change things up, make this casserole! My dad would melt cheese into a pot of spaghetti when I was a kid, and it was my favorite way to eat it. This casserole reminds me of those dinners I had as a kid.
If you really want to take it up a notch, make some homemade marinara sauce to use in it. Maybe one day I will share ours with you!
Happy baking! Let me know if you try them!
I love our Dutch oven! I love being able to cook on the stove then have the ability to put it in the oven without having to transfer everything into another dish.
